RN - MedSurg

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, direct and guide patient/family education, and oversee the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The RN is directly accountable for the care provided to assigned patients and is expected to communicate promptly with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. The RN must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or treatment response. Responsibilities Deliver safe patient care through the nursing process. Provide direct patient care and maintain standards in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team about patient conditions. Guide and teach patients and families regarding care processes. Respond swiftly to clinical changes and implement necessary actions. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate. Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate. Minimum 1 year of previous Acute Care hospital experience. Meditech EMR experience preferred. Ability to float to different units as needed. Why ARMStaffing?
