Location: Great Bend, KS

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing, with potential extension

Shift: Day Shift (36 hours/week), potential OT for covering sick/PTO staff

Hours/Week: 36 hours + Overtime

Employment Type: Full-Time

Licenses/Certifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from Kansas State, CRT/RRT credential from NBRC, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP

Experience: Minimum 6 months in critical care preferred, clinical instruction experience a plus

Hourly Pay Range: $28.57 – $37.84 (based on experience)

Shift Differentials:

• Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): $2.30/hr
• Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): $3.75/hr
• Weekend (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM): $3.00/hr

What You'll Do

• Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification
• Work independently in critical care units post-checkoffs
• Administer all modes of respiratory therapy across hospital departments
• Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate therapies following protocols
• Mentor students and new staff members
• Support the healthcare team in maintaining high standards of patient care
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts during various hospital shifts

What You Need

Required:

• Associate's Degree in respiratory care
• Kansas RT license and NBRC CRT/RRT credential
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Basic computer skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in respiratory care or related field
• Additional education or work experience in respiratory therapy
• Experience in critical care settings
• Clinical instruction experience
