Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Expected night shift. Possibly varied night and day shifts based on department need.

- State Registered Nurse license.

- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required.

- NRP certification preferred.

- Minimum of four years Emergency Room Nurse experience required.

- Assess and monitor physical status of patients.

- Correlate physician orders to diagnoses to address patient treatment needs.

- Document patient care on clinical records accurately and concisely, at least every two hours.

- Anticipate potential problems and adapt to unit changes.

- Follow established safety and infection control procedures and intervene in unsafe situations.
