Float Registered Veterinary Nurse

We cover all areas of London; Central, South, East, North, West and parts of Essex. We do not expect people to cover huge areas, and you will work closely with our locum coordinator teams to work out which clinics are accessible to you. There is flexibility in a float role, and we can explore 2, 3, 4 or even 5 days if you wished! The role allows you to experience different environments from RCVS accredited hospitals with an array of specialists to multi vet and small sole charge clinics. Being a float role, you will work closely with your locum coordinator having shifts assigned that best support the clinics with their rota gaps. This role involves a regular Saturday rotation and an average of Sunday shifts throughout the year, so you can manage your Sunday shifts around your personal life, while again meeting the needs of the clinics. Sundays and bank holidays would be worked at your nearest 24-hour hospital. As a Float RVN you will help support the teams with general day to day nursing tasks including working in the clinical environment, supporting with reception duties and guidance for our student nurses. Your rota will vary each week as your shifts will be allocated in line with the business need, giving you opportunity to work between different environments. So why join the team instead of locuming? What we offer you: Our float RVN salary band is £34,000 to £38,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
