Medical Business Specialist - Munson Medical Oncology Full-time, Day Shift. Location: 1105 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly. Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Sign-On Bonus: $2,700 Sign-On Bonus (Terms and Conditions Apply) Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, greeting them professionally in person and over the telephone and responding effectively. Obtain and verify all required patient and insurance information and enter it accurately into the registration system. Schedule patient appointments, including return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing, and procedures. Qualifications High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or similar healthcare role. Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
