Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy focused on enhancing communication skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions. Collaborate intimately with a multidisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and family members to ensure an integrated approach to care. Provide essential education to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in sporadic inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee seamless transitions throughout care. Document evaluations and treatment progress in compliance with established state and federal standards. Pursue continuous learning and stay informed about advancements in the field through professional development opportunities. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved institution. A supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) must be completed if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills Mastery of evidence-based techniques for various speech, language, and swallowing disorders, with an emphasis on both developmental and acquired challenges.
