Girls Just Gotta Have Funds is growing and looking for a Junior Financial Advisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a securities-licensed advisor who wants to grow in the business while learning from an established, client-focused financial planning team.

The right person for this role will be process-oriented, detail-driven, comfortable with technology, and excited to support both client service and long-term business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who may not have a large client base yet but is ready to build. You will have the opportunity to support existing client relationships, assist with planning and investment-related work, and take on paid administrative responsibilities as you ramp up your advisory practice.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Financial Advisor, you will support the team in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes work. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting existing client relationships, including lower-tier client service and follow-up
• Preparing client meeting agendas and materials
• Completing investment proposals and planning-related prep work
• Assisting with RightCapital/RightBridge planning workflows
• Supporting CRIA review preparation and follow-up
• Responding to client emails and service requests in a timely, professional manner
• Helping organize client data, notes, tasks, and follow-up items
• Partnering with senior advisors to prepare for client meetings
• Learning the team’s planning process, technology, client experience, and service model
• Participating in team meetings and development opportunities
• Gradually building and developing your own client relationships over time

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active securities licenses or the ability to support investment advisory review work
• Financial services, wealth management, insurance, banking, or client service experience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• A process-oriented mindset and comfort using technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A client-first approach with a warm, professional presence
• Willingness to support administrative work while building advisory experience
• Ability to work primarily from the Redwood City office
• Willingness to attend team meetings in Walnut Creek or Pleasanton on Wednesdays as needed
• Interest in long-term growth as a Financial Advisor
• Alignment with a team that focuses on making financial planning approachable, empowering, and personal

Location

This role will be primarily based in Redwood City, CA, with occasional travel to Walnut Creek or Pleasanton for team meetings.

Compensation

Compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process and may include paid administrative support work, approximately 10–20 hours per week, while the advisor ramps up and grows into the role.
