Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a significant impact as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive, student-centered school community near Morristown, AZ. Two contract positions are available for dedicated educators: one Resource SPED Teacher and one Self-Contained SPED Teacher, both serving middle school students in grades 6–8. With a schedule of Monday through Thursday (no Fridays!), you’ll enjoy improved work/life balance and three-day weekends year-round.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona teaching license with an active IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Previous experience supporting students with exceptional needs (middle school experience preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
• On-site presence required; remote work is not available for this role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades 6–8
• Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment tailored to diverse learning needs
• Partner closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and guardians
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to maximize student growth
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all regulations and deadlines
