Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking dynamic Special Education professionals with a passion for middle school education! Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers to serve students in grades 6–8. These roles support the academic and social growth of learners, working alongside a collaborative district team that values both student success and educator well-being.

The positions are on-site and offer an appealing work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30am–4:00pm, totaling 36 hours per week—enjoy every Friday off to support your work/life balance. Openings include one Resource Special Education Teacher role and one Self-Contained Special Education Teacher role.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Arizona teaching license with active IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Experience in middle school special education (grades 6-8); comfortable with either resource or self-contained settings
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging learning environments
• Commitment to consistent, on-site participation during scheduled hours

What You'll Do:

• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver effective instruction and interventions tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Foster a supportive and motivating classroom environment
• Track student data and progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions
• Uphold all district, state, and federal special education guidelines
