Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse position is available in Lima, Ohio, specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry. Candidates are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for assigned patients during the night shift. The role requires adherence to the healthcare provider's mission, policies, and procedures. Candidates must bring their active Ohio or Compact Registered Nurse license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Lima, Ohio
• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio or Compact Registered Nurse license; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Competency with cardiac medications (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex), telemetric monitoring skills, knowledge of heart rhythms, and recognition of stroke signs and symptoms. Excellent critical thinking and communication skills are essential.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be competent with cardiac medications, telemetry, and possess strong assessment skills. Proper documentation of all required certifications and licensure must be provided.
