Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with rotating day and night shifts across multiple units and facilities.

Job Details

• Float pool position covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU - not unit-based,
• Rotating 12-hour day (7:00-19:30) and night (19:00-7:30) shifts, 3 days per week,
• Schedule cycles are 4 weeks; shift assignment may alternate between days and nights depending on need,
• Patient population includes critically ill ICU patients as well as ED and PACU patients,
• Specialized equipment used includes ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters,
• Floating required to other UCSF facilities and departments,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,
• BSN required,
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS required,
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters required,
• NIHSS certification preferred,
• 2.5+ years of ICU experience preferred,
• Completed professional references required for consideration,

• This is a float pool role requiring flexibility to work across multiple critical care and acute care environments,
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of offer - RTO requests submitted after contract signing will not be honored
