We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Southside Office as a Nurse Supervisor .

About the Role

The  Nurse Supervisor provides professional nursing care while leading and supporting the clinical nursing team. This position oversees daily nursing operations, staffing, patient flow, clinical quality, and staff performance while ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and oversee nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate daily staffing needs and promote efficient clinical operations.
• Orient, support, and mentor clinical staff while providing leadership in clinical problem-solving.
• Oversee and coordinate safe and efficient patient flow within the infusion room.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, supervisors, and other departments.
• Mix and administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration, hematopoietic growth factors, and other medications under physician direction and supervision.
• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, spiritual, and emotional needs and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor and communicate laboratory results, imaging, and other clinical data to identify changes in patient status and coordinate appropriate interventions with physicians.
• Provide patient and family education and assist with referrals to appropriate community resources when needed.
• Perform clinical procedures including venipuncture, vascular device care, and dressing changes.
• Provide telephone triage, assess patient concerns, and determine appropriate interventions.
• Accurately document nursing assessments, patient education, treatments, and medication/fluid administration in the electronic health record.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, infection-control, sterilization, safety, and quality standards.
• Complete annual employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing staff feedback and support.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all applicable legal and professional standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN who combines strong clinical judgment with the ability to lead, communicate, and support a high-performing clinical team.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited professional nursing program;  BSN preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of  one year of nursing experience , preferably in an oncology setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oncology certification (OCN) preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification/course completion, or applicable Radiation certification, required within six months of hire
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education
