Warehouse Cross Dock Associate - 2nd Shift

Position Overview Keep our communities fed. As a Cross Dock Pallet Jack Operator, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality. Pay $22.00 per hour. Full time, second shift (4:00p.m.–2:30a.m.) at 500 North St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Responsibilities Operate an electric riding pallet jack Assist in unloading cross‑dock trailers Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of the warehouse facility Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality Prioritize work within your assigned zone Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor Physical and Safety Expectations Continuously standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift; walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.; frequently lifting produce weighing between 1–60lbs. or more, lifting from floor to overhead, working on multiple levels of varying height, handling sharp objects including box‑cutting tools.
