**Must have 1 year dental assistant experience**

MUST be able to speak Spanish - many of our patients are Spanish speakers and it's important to us to find someone who is able to communicate with them.

Responsibilities:
- Call patients to fill schedule
- Generate lists from practice management software
- Responsible for communication between office and patients
- Ensure all patient requests are given a response
- Greet and check-in patients, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collect Payments
- Create and explain treatment plans
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and emails, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain patient records accurately using Dental office software.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations.

- Strong computer skills i.e. excel, Microsoft suite
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately record and maintain dental records
- Ability to handle difficult patient situations in a professional manner
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- High energy, self-motivated, friendly personality with a professional and positive approach
- Minimum of 1 year experience verifying insurance benefits and performing benefit breakdowns
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to type at least 40 words per minute

-Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
