Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• 1 year clinical experience required
• BLS is required
• State license and ARRT (R) required or CCI RCIS
• Experience with cardiac caths, PPM implants, and peripheral angiographies required
• Experience with Philips Xray, Impella, Balloon pump, and Acist injector

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
• Call: 9 shifts per month
• Weekday call: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Weekend call: 1 weekend per month, Friday 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM
• Average case load: 7 cases per day
• Charting systems: EPIC and Merge
