Title
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
- Charting experience with Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-neurosurgery care, and seizure management.
- Manage ventilated patients, including ventilator management and continuous IV sedation.
- Administer blood products and manage vascular access including central and arterial lines.
- Monitor hemodynamics and manage devices such as external ventricular drains and lumbar drains.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours (2 days or 2 nights)
- Candidate must complete lab/testing within 48 hours after signing
- RTO policy: Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved; RTO not allowed during the first week due to orientation
- Background checks and drug screens may be required
- Scrub colors: Navy blue & white
