Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Our client, a luxury goods retailer located in northern NJ, is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer for a full-time remote role. The developer will be responsible for managing the client's Salesforce Commerce Cloud integration and the overall design, build, and maintenance of scalable B2C e-commerce storefronts. The developer will customize the platform, integrate third-party systems, and optimize site performance to create seamless omnichannel shopping experiences for customers.

The developer should be fluent in primary languages like JavaScript (server-side and client-side), HTML, and CSS. The developer will be experience working with SFCC customization, instead of standard packages, using cartridges or unmanaged packages containing full source code. The developer should also be experience with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).

Responsibilities:

• Storefront Customization – Develop and modify e-commerce sites using SFCC B2C
• System Integration – Connect SFCC with enterprise retail systems like Order Management Systems (OMS), Product Information Management (PIM), CRMs, and payment gateways.
• Headless Architecture – Build responsive, PWA (Progressive Web App) Kit-based storefronts and utilize SFCC APIs for headless commerce implementations
• Performance Optimization – Debug, troubleshoot, and tune website speed, security, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in web development with deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C), including storefront customization and data modeling
• Strong experience with JavaScript (server-side and client-side), HTML, and CSS
• Strong proficiency in modern React (Hooks, Context) and TypeScript
• Proven experience implementing headless commerce architectures
• Solid grasp of testing frameworks (Jest) and experience leading automated testing strategies (Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Extensive experience designing REST/SOAP API integrations and event-driven architectures

The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
