We're partnering with a well-established engineering and generator services company in Polk County that is looking to add a skilled  Electrician to their growing team. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and delivering exceptional customer service. While generator experience is a plus, the company is willing to train the right candidate who has solid electrical knowledge and is eager to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair generator systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs ranging from routine maintenance to major component replacements
• Install residential and industrial generators and automatic transfer switches while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and manufacturer specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, system inspections, and operational testing
• Pull wire, bend conduit, run cable trays, and complete electrical wiring for generator installations and service calls
• Work with electrical systems up to 240V and 480V as required
• Accurately complete service reports, inspections, and job documentation using an iPad
• Provide professional customer service while communicating with homeowners about service findings and recommended repairs
• Load, organize, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical work
• Previous generator installation or service experience is a plus (Generac experience preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience pulling wire, bending conduit, running cable trays, and reading electrical diagrams
• Experience working with 240V and/or 480V electrical systems preferred
• Comfortable performing both electrical work and routine service technician duties
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners
• Comfortable using tablets and mobile applications to complete electronic service reports
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently after training
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Journeyman Electrician license is a plus, but not required

What You Can Expect

• $25.00 - $32.00/hr – depending on experience
• Schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Weekly pay
• PTO
• Paid holidays
