With strong financial backing and significant investment in people, systems and technology, we're building a scalable finance organization to support our next phase of growth.We're looking for a senior accountant to join our accounting and finance team, working closely with the controller and CFO. This is a role with real ownership from day one: you'll help lead the month-end close and manage accounts receivable, building great working relationships with our clients along the way.This is a small-company role in the best sense. If you're curious by nature, enjoy understanding the business behind the numbers and get satisfaction from taking an idea all the way to the finish line, you'll feel right at home here.What You'll DoHelp lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement preparationTake ownership of close tasks from start to finish, with the trust and autonomy to manage them your wayManage accounts receivable: monitor aging, keep in friendly and professional contact with clients and help keep our cash flow healthyBe a go-to resource for accounting questions from other departments and clients, seeing requests through to resolutionAssist the controller with the annual external audit by pulling together schedules and supporting documentation as neededSupport our NetSuite implementation, including data validation, process design and testingMaintain and improve accounting processes, controls and documentationSupport the controller with ad hoc analysis, reporting and special projectsIdentify opportunities to streamline close and collections workflows, then implement themLearn the business beyond the numbers and bring insights that help us growWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownershipExperience managing AR collections, including direct customer follow-upStrong working knowledge of GAAPProficiency in NetSuite (or a comparable ERP) and ExcelA self-starter mindset: you enjoy taking initiative and seeing your work throughGreat follow-through: people know that when something lands with you, it gets handledGenuine curiosity: you ask why, dig into how the business works and connect the numbers to what's happening on the groundExcitement about a small-company environment where you get variety in your work and can see your impact on company outcomesStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlinesClear, proactive communication with teammates, leadership and external partnersNice To HaveCPA or CPA candidateExposure to supporting an external auditExperience with a NetSuite implementation or ERP migrationExperience in a professional services or subscription revenue environmentExperience improving or documenting close, collections or inbox/ticketing processesWhat We Offer$80,000–$110,000 base salary, based on experienceComprehensive health, dental and vision insurance401(k) with company match, plus profit sharingThree or more weeks of paid time offProfessional development opportunities, including our CPG Academy leadership programThe chance to see your impact directly: at our size, good work changes company outcomesU.S. Compliance is an equal opportunity employer.
