Senior Accountant

Salary: USD45 - USD55 per hour Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant for a Manufacturing partner of ours in the Golden Valley area. Pay: $45-$55/hr Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Contract to hire Fully Onsite, ASAP Start Key Responsibilities Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve processes and controls Partner with operational leaders to support business initiatives and reporting needs Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies Mentor junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close and account reconciliation processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar CPA certification or CPA track preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
