Bookkeeper (Temporary)

Crosby, United States | Posted on 08/07/2026 Nexteel Saha, LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Temporary Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations during a six- to eight-week employee absence. This position will help maintain the timely and accurate processing of daily financial transactions at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to begin contributing with minimal supervision. Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred. Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals Enter vendor bills and maintain accurate vendor records Assist with accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and payment tracking Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts Record deposits, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions Review vendor statements and research discrepancies Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records Assist with purchase orders, expense reports, and supporting documentation Provide payroll-related administrative support as needed Prepare basic financial and transaction reports for management Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding accounting matters Support month-end closing activities Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned Requirements Two or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation Ability to accurately manage a high volume of financial transactions Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines Manufacturing, industrial, or construction accounting experience is preferred Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required This is a temporary position expected to last approximately six to eight weeks. The selected candidate must be available to work on-site during regular business hours and should be prepared to quickly learn Nexteel Saha’s accounting processes and procedures.
