Financial Clearance Specialist

Utilizing specialized knowledge, the full-time Financial Clearance Specialist will research, analyze, and manage patient financial responsibilities, ensuring accurate scheduling and insurance verification while supporting customer relations in a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities Research, collect, and analyze information to identify opportunities and develop solutions for performance improvement Perform pre-registration, scheduling, and insurance eligibility verification, ensuring efficient patient flow and customer service Distribute analytical reports and develop educational materials while adhering to organizational policies and procedures Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software
