Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual activity and/or conditions. Support access control processes by monitoring designated entry points, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with visitor direction in accordance with site guidelines. Help to deter unauthorized access, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations through visible presence, attentive patrol activity, and timely communication with supervisors and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
