LPN / LVN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU)Location: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, MEFull-time | Nights | 7p–7a | 12-Hour ShiftsThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), this role supports cardiac patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes while enhancing the patient experience.Responsibilities:Provide bedside patient care and monitor vital signs and cardiac statusAssist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood drawsCollaborate with RNs and care teams on treatment plansEnsure patient safety, infection control, and protocol complianceDocument care in EMR/EHR systemsReport changes in patient condition promptlyQualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.5. Work experience in health care preferred.Pay Transparency: Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75.
