Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

LPN - Post Acute LTC / SNF - Lewiston, ME - $46.00/hr


We are seeking an experienced LPN for a 13-week contract opportunity with St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine . This role is ideal for an LPN with experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehab, or dementia care who is comfortable working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


Pay: $46.00/hr

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Start Date: 05/26/2026

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Facility: St. Mary's Regional Medical Center - Maine

Location: 93 Campus Avenue, Lewiston, ME 04240

EMR: Epic


Unit Overview
3 East is a 31-bed specialized Alzheimer's and dementia unit focused on long-term placement and individualized communication-centered care.


The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit is a 42-bed short-term skilled nursing and rehab unit serving patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other short-term conditions requiring a rehab approach.


3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit providing supportive care in a home-like environment.


Requirements

• Active Maine or compact LPN license
• BLS/BCLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Important Notes

• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
• Previous employees are not accepted
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Holiday coverage required
• No guaranteed hours
