Business Development Partner

Arboris Capital Partners is seeking a Business Development Partner to expand our consulting practice by developing relationships with founder-led and middle-market companies.

You'll identify qualified prospects, conduct discovery meetings, present Arboris Consulting's services, and work with leadership to convert qualified opportunities into long-term consulting engagements.

Typical consulting engagements range from $144,000 to $180,000+ annually, providing the opportunity to build a substantial recurring portfolio.

Responsibilities Develop relationships with founders, CEOs, owners, and executive leadership teams. Generate qualified consulting opportunities through networking, referrals, and business development. Conduct discovery meetings and qualify prospective clients. Present Arboris Consulting's services and value proposition. Coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Arboris leadership. Maintain an organized sales pipeline and CRM. Build long-term executive relationships that generate recurring consulting engagements.

Compensation Phase 1 – Independent Contractor (1099)

Until four (4) active consulting retainer clients are originated, Business Development Partners receive:

15% of all collected consulting retainer fees from the clients they originate. Phase 2 – W-2 Employment

After originating four active consulting retainer clients, and once the fourth client has successfully paid its second monthly retainer invoice, Business Development Partners transition to full-time W-2 employment.

Base Salary Progression 4 Clients: $60,000 Annual Base Salary 8 Clients: $120,000 Annual Base Salary 12 Clients: $180,000 Annual Base Salary 16+ Clients: $200,000 Maximum Annual Base Salary Additional Compensation

In addition to base salary, Business Development Partners receive:

10% of all collected consulting retainer fees from the clients they originate for as long as those clients remain active with Arboris Consulting. 20% of all collected revenue-share fees generated from the incremental revenue created for the clients they originate.

Revenue-share incentives are calculated and paid quarterly after Arboris receives payment.
