Third Party Manufacturing Account Manager

AbbVie seeks a Third Party Manufacturing Account Manager to serve as the primary interface between the company and external manufacturers or customers receiving contract manufacturing services. The role involves managing multiple accounts, ensuring contract compliance, coordinating across internal departments, and identifying supply chain optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact and liaison between AbbVie and third-party manufacturers or customers
• Travel to manufacturing sites to establish relationships and assess capabilities or customer requirements
• Monitor contract fulfillment and resolve performance issues by engaging appropriate internal resources
• Negotiate new contracts and extensions with third parties, ensuring strategic alignment and clear performance metrics
• Identify consolidation opportunities and potential product in-sourcing or out-sourcing to optimize supply chain

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years in Manufacturing, Program Management, Materials Management, Logistics, QA, Marketing, or Engineering
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, contract negotiations, and project management
• Strong program management, presentation, and written/oral communication skills
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in manufacturing and contracting
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Operational knowledge of manufacturing logistics and supply chain issues
