Microbiology Lab Tech (Cosmetics)
$20 - $25 per hourAstrix Inc
Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality personal care products, is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to join their team in Montclair, CA.
Pay: $20-25/hr.
Shift:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM start time
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM start time
(Start times may fluctuate)
Job Type: Contract-to-hire
Job Duties:
- Collect samples throughout the manufacturing floor
- Prepare samples for microbiological testing
- Accurately label specimens and distribute them to the appropriate department
- Clean and maintain the work area, lab equipment, and supplies
- Perform quality control duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager
- Understand, follow, and monitor all GMP and safety requirements and procedures in the work environment
- Support other areas of QC as needed
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED required with 0-2 years of experience
- Laboratory experience required
- Knowledge of microbiology techniques
- Ability to understand complex instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
