In this role, you'll fabricate, position, align, and fit project components while helping us deliver quality work safely and efficiently.Whether you're building your fabrication skills or bringing previous welding and fabrication experience, this is an opportunity to learn, grow, and take pride in your craft.What You'll DoAs part of the Ninth Inning team, you may:Fabricate, position, align, and fit project components using blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications.Perform steel fabrication and welding work based on your training and experience.Work with fabrication tools and equipment, including grinders, band saws, drills, shears, welders, laser cutters, press brakes, CNC equipment, and overhead cranes.Produce work that meets established quality standards.Work efficiently while minimizing waste and rework.Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.Use, inspect, maintain, and store company-provided tools and equipment properly.Participate in training, cross-training, and skill development.Work with your team to support safe, efficient production and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:Takes pride in producing high-quality work.Puts safety first and follows established procedures.Can follow verbal and written instructions.Pays attention to detail and works efficiently.Is dependable and has reliable transportation.Is willing to learn and develop new skills.Can handle the physical demands of hands-on production work.Has fabrication or welding experience, or an interest in developing those skills.Previous experience reading fabrication drawings, performing steel fabrication or welding, using power tools or material-handling equipment, or holding applicable FCAW/WABO certifications may be valuable depending on assigned duties.Grow Your SkillsAt Ninth Inning, learning doesn't stop once you're hired.Fabrication employees participate in training and skill development and can expand their abilities through additional competencies and cross-training. Experienced employees may also have opportunities to help train and support less-experienced team members.What to ExpectThis is an on-site, hands-on production position that keeps you moving throughout the day.The work can include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting or moving materials weighing 50–100 pounds.The position may involve both indoor and outdoor work, welding and fabrication equipment, noise, confined work areas, and work at heights with proper fall protection.
