Our client is seeking a highly motivated Analyst Assistant to join their growing District Administration Services team. This is a unique opportunity to combine data analysis, financial reporting, and client-facing experience while supporting municipalities and public infrastructure projects throughout California.

• Analyze and manage large datasets to support client reporting and decision-making
• Create, update, and maintain Excel-based reports, databases, and financial records
• Assist with financial tracking, tax calculations, assessments, and compliance reporting
• Partner with Project Managers to support municipal and special district clients
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure high levels of accuracy and data integrity
• Prepare reports and documentation used in client meetings and presentations
• Learn to interpret financial, legal, and regulatory documents related to public finance
• Help identify issues, analyze trends, and support data-driven solutions
• Participate in client meetings and gradually take on increased client exposure and responsibility

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field
• Internship experience or 1+ year of experience in data analysis, finance, accounting, reporting, or administrative support
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis
• Experience working with large datasets and maintaining data accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in analytics and finance

• SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting and visualization tools
• Financial analysis, accounting, or reporting experience
• Exposure to government, municipal, public-sector, or compliance-focused environments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temecula, CA.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
