Are you skilled at balancing purchasing, production planning, and supplier coordination? We’re looking for a Buyer / Planner who can keep materials flowing, production schedules on track, and customer deliveries on time! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a precision CNC machining environment, working closely with operations, engineering, quality, and suppliers to keep production running efficiently. Who We're Looking For: 3+ years of purchasing and/or production planning experience, ideally in CNC machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing. Knowledge of CNC machining processes, raw materials, tooling, and outside processing. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and the ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Strong negotiation, organization, communication, and Excel skills. Aerospace quality systems, AS9100/AS9102, and multi-axis machining experience are a plus! What You'll Do: Purchasing & Procurement: Source raw materials, CNC tooling, and outside processing services while negotiating pricing, lead times, and supplier terms. Production Planning: Schedule work orders across CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machining centers to optimize capacity and meet delivery deadlines. Inventory & Scheduling: Monitor material availability, work-in-progress, and production bottlenecks to prevent delays. Supplier Management: Build strong vendor relationships, track performance, and ensure materials meet quality and certification requirements.
