NOC Analyst

Job Application Deadline 07/31/2026 Opportunity DAT is looking for a NOC Engineer I to join our platform team. The NOC team is responsible for ensuring our platform runs smoothly 24/7 and for coordinating incident response. This position reports to the SRE/NOC Manager and will work hybrid in Seattle, Denver, or Tigard. Candidate Profile We seek a skilled NOC Engineer who can maintain infrastructure stability, respond to incidents, and collaborate with Executive Leadership, Platform Engineering, Customer Service, and Product teams. The role requires building reporting dashboards, analyzing incident data, and communicating findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the Network Operations Center with engineers across the US and India. Monitor performance and system health to meet uptime and reliability metrics. Develop, implement, and continually improve NOC processes and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to triage technical issues. Log, track, and resolve incidents in a timely manner; document RCAs and ensure fixes are applied. Provide regular system performance and incident reports, translating data into actionable plans. Help build and maintain business metrics databases and dashboards for platform health and performance. Participate in an on‑call rotation as needed. The Skills and Experience You'll Bring 1‑3+ years in network operations, project management, or business analytics. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or New Relic. Experience with an Incident Management tool such as Rootly, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or similar. Experience with business analytics tools such as AWS Quicksight, Looker, or Tableau. Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. The Extras We'd Love to See Experience with software development or scripting (e.g., Python) to automate systems. Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks. Work Schedule Full‑time with potential on‑call duties.
