This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting function while also helping improve processes as the company continues to scale.You will work closely with leadership, mentor team members, and play a key role in keeping the financial operations accurate, timely, and efficient — without sacrificing nights and weekends.The ideal candidate will be a CPA with public accounting and /or industry experience.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLERManage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsEnsure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisCoordinate with external auditors and tax providersIdentify and implement process improvements as we growJump in where needed — they are a team and support each otherQUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLERBachelor's or master's degree in accounting xhyhwjd CPA or CPA candidate3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industryStrong computer skillsExcellent organizational and communication skillsPositive attitude and team-first mindsetTarget salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE.
