Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a respected nonprofit reproductive healthcare organization seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, physician oversight, and strategic guidance for a patient-centered healthcare environment.

The Medical Director will oversee clinical quality, support provider teams, ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and help advance a culture of compassionate, evidence-based care. This role combines direct patient care responsibilities with clinical leadership, operational collaboration, and development of medical policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is a physician leader who is passionate about accessible healthcare, quality improvement, mentorship, and delivering respectful, compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Oversight

Provide medical leadership and oversight for clinical services, ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Supervise, mentor, and support physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical team members.

Establish and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices.

Review and update medical policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

Serve as a resource for providers and staff regarding clinical decision-making and patient care concerns.

Patient Care

Provide direct clinical care to patients in alignment with organizational standards and medical guidelines.

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based healthcare while prioritizing patient dignity, autonomy, and informed decision-making.

Support management of complex clinical situations and provide clinical guidance when needed.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical requirements.

Support quality improvement initiatives, safety programs, and continuous process improvement.

Participate in clinical audits, reviews, and performance improvement activities.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.

Operations & Team Collaboration

Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to support organizational goals.

Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and support teams to improve patient experience and clinic workflows.

Participate in strategic planning and initiatives related to clinical services.

Support training, education, and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio.

Board certification in an appropriate specialty (OB/GYN, Family Medicine, or related specialty preferred).

Clinical experience providing reproductive healthcare services preferred.

Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare or outpatient clinical setting.

Strong understanding of quality improvement, clinical compliance, and patient safety principles.

Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Medical Director, Clinical Director, or physician leadership experience.

Experience working in ambulatory care, reproductive healthcare, family planning, or community healthcare settings.

Experience mentoring providers, residents, or advanced practice clinicians.

Experience developing clinical policies, protocols, and workflows.

Pay Details: $180.00 to $200.00 per year
