PSC Phlebotomist

Job Summary LabCorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Marrero, Louisiana. The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., and includes travel to additional sites when required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
