About the Position

Job Title: EP Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Electrophysiology Lab settings is required. License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Must-Have: - Must have Electrophysiology Lab experience. - Skills in Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, and Circulating Procedures. - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. - Competence in monitoring procedural sedation. - Proficiency in obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG. Description: This position is for an Electrophysiology Lab RN. The RN will work four ten-hour day shifts, typically from 07:00 to 17:30. Flexibility is required as shifts may vary based on procedure completion. On-call duties are not required for this position. Weekend shifts are not required. The position does not involve floating between service lines or facilities. The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. During hurricane season, all employees may be required to participate in emergency response teams, so applicants should be mindful of this requirement. Candidates are expected to have a proficient understanding of EP Lab systems, tools, and protocols.
