Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Dedham, MA 02026 . This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific Duties Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff Evaluates images for technical quality Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire) Preferred Education. Experience & Skills MA state Radiation control license in Mammography At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist Experience in multiple specialities Additional Information Location: Dedham, MA 02026 Job Type: 3+ month contract to hire Schedule: - Monday-Friday Office Hours: 08:00 AM- 4:30 PM Pay Range: $50-$54/hr.
