RN-Float East0111 Float Pool* **Schedule:** Day Shift. 36 hours weekly 7:00a-7:30p.**About the Position**A “RN Float East” is a person who holds a valid Indiana license, and who bears primary responsibility and accountability for nursing practices based on specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, and behavioral sciences. The RN Float East is a versatile and skilled professional who provides high quality patient care across various units within the hospital, including Critical Care, Progressive Care, Observation, Family Birthing Center, Emergency Department, and all North units. The patient population consists of individuals across the lifespan with varying levels of acuity, from critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention to those needing observation and supportive care. This includes patients with complex medical conditions, surgical needs, emergent health concerns, maternal and newborn care, and those receiving rehabilitative and psychiatric services. The RN Float East must be prepared to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each unit's specialized patient needs.
