Job Description

Welcome to Basin Dermatology, a leader in medical and cosmetic dermatology services in Midland, Texas. Basin Dermatology is looking for a Front Office Receptionist to be the first face that our wonderful dermatology patients see when they walk in our friendly office!

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, often seeing many patients daily.
Mix of medical dermatology (disease treatment) and cosmetic dermatology (aesthetic procedures).

Salary : $16- $19 an hour

Schedule :
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Front Office Receptionist

Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment
Verifying personal information, insurance, and ID
Having patients complete or update intake forms
Collecting copays and outstanding balances
Scheduling follow-up appointments at check-out
Booking new and returning patient appointments
Coordinating procedure slots (biopsies, cosmetic treatments, etc.)
Managing cancellations, reschedules, and waitlists
Sending appointment reminders (calls, texts, emails)
Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately
Responding to patient questions (basic info, not medical advice)
Handling patient portal messages
Communicating with providers and clinical staff about scheduling or patient needs

Required Skills Front Office Receptionist
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

Strong communication and customer service skills
Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Basic computer and EMR system knowledge
Ability to work positively with other staff members
Ability to multi-task
Bilingual English/Spanish required
