This is an onsite position.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support team members and perform required communication equipment integration or installation of communication systems equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and use of test equipment as requiredInstall, configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and manage HF, UHF, SATCOM, radio communications suites and associated network and cryptographic equipment deployedDemonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive teamPerformance of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting or assessment of electronic equipmentWorking alongside engineers to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problemsAnalyzing operations and offering suggestions for improvementPerform field validations of various watercraft and equipmentPerform work between customer sites, shore sites, and/or on shipsAbility to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed up to 50%Minimum Qualifications:2+ years of Communications experienceExperience with HF/VHF/UHF installation/troubleshootingExperience with RF ConnectorsHands-on knowledge of test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Optical analyzers, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters, etc.Must possess a current Sec+ CertificationPreferred Qualifications :Experience with ANY of the following radio systems: (KOR 24A, PRC 117 series, Vortex, ARC-231 a plus), SATCOM equipment, radio networks (HPW, Link-11, Link -16, BFT/FBCB2), cryptographic equipment, keying data transfer devices (DTD's), RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers), basic electronic principles, a firm knowledge of networking equipment, IP networking and sub-nettingExperience with JIRA/ConfluenceAssociate's degree in related fieldNAVSEA Certified in Fiber Optic TerminationClearance Requirements:US citizenship required and an active Secret clearanceMust be eligible to obtain a CAC cardPhysical Requirements:Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 LbsMust be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50%Be able to ascend and descend ladders as required for installationsMust be able to position oneself to install communications systems, server racks, or potentially running transmission lines as required.The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
