Location Tewksbury Elementary Schools Pay & Benefits Starting at: $24.00/hour Part‑time benefits available Employee referral program – up to $150 for each successful new hire you refer Responsibilities Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more. Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site. Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children’s sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students’ interests and talents. Provide a caring, family‑oriented environment where staff, children, and parents can thrive. Qualifications 21+ years old and a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a child‑related field such as elementary education, child psychology, or recreation management (preferred). Flexible and demonstrates a passion to work with children in a learning environment. Provides a supportive and caring environment for children. Ability to communicate professionally with children, parents, staff, and other management. Ability to successfully pass and maintain criminal history background checks and Child Protective Services Registry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Well‑organized, thorough, and highly reliable/dependable. Ability to remain calm while maintaining high professionalism and personal work ethics/integrity at all times. Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred. Direct instructional experience in a licensed childcare program, an elementary public or charter school, a Department of Health licensed camp, or an approved private educational organization system. Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Associate degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
