2nd Grade Teacher

Bandera ISD is searching for a dynamic 2nd grade teacher to join the Hill Country Elementary School Family for the Spring semester of the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Start Date: January 6, 2025 Bandera ISD is a 4-Day instructional week school district (Mon-Thurs.) (Designated Fridays throughout the school year will be required for teacher training and professional development opportunities) Hill Country Elementary School is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country near Medina Lake. HCE is a Title I, PK-5 campus with an enrollment of 440+ students. The Hill Country family is committed to providing their students with an optimal learning environment that supports student exploration and growth. With this belief in place, HCE is searching for the teacher who will bring high energy and a commitment to student growth to the classroom. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught ESL certification (Preferred, but if not currently certified, this will be required as soon as possible) Additional Information: Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels Deliver high quality instruction to students, assess student learning, and make the necessary adjustments to support student growth Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff Work cohesively with the campus staff in a self-contained atmosphere Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Sylvania
