Laboratory Technician (Lab Tech) Nutraceutical/Quality Lab

Fast-paced lab role supporting product quality and safety through accurate testing, documentation, and sample handling. If you enjoy hands-on lab work, follow procedures well, and thrive on consistencythis temp-to-hire opportunity is for you.

Job Details

• Compensation: $20.00/hr

• Job Site Location: Spanish Fork, UT

• Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts/week (schedule includes MonWed and may include ThuSat rotation as needed)

• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

• Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab testing and inspections following SOPs and quality standards

• Collect, label, and prepare samples; maintain strict chain-of-custody and traceability

• Accurately document results in logs/systems; maintain organized records for audits

• Calibrate/verify basic lab equipment and report any out-of-spec issues

• Support quality checks on raw materials and finished goods (as assigned)

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area (5S); follow PPE and safety requirements

• Communicate test results or concerns to leads/supervisors promptly

• Assist with continuous improvement tasks and special projects when needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

• 6+ months experience as a lab technician, lab assistant, QC tech, or similar (or relevant training)

• Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, process-driven work

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and work 12-hour shifts

• Basic math and documentation skills; able to follow written procedures (SOPs)

• Ability to work in a regulated environment and follow safety rules

Preferred

• Experience in GMP, food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing quality labs

• Familiarity with basic lab tools (pipettes, scales, pH meters) and sample prep

• Prior experience with data entry/LIMS or electronic batch/quality records
