POSITION SUMMARY: The Construction Management Project Manager is responsible for handling all aspects of construction from inception to completion. This includes collaboration with clients and other team members in estimating, purchasing, and project management as determined by management. Ability to work on site, travel throughout the United States, and work evenings and weekends is required. Travel required at approximately 50% of responsibilities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management highly preferred. Applicable certifications are desirable
• 0-5+ years field experience in commercial construction. Compensation commensurate with experience
• Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Premiere/Procore experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Skill in organizing, analyzing, problem solving, and multi-tasking
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with standard construction equipment, tools, and forming systems
• Ability to build relationships within the organization and with current and prospective clients
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing

Bushman Construction:

SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, field position. Hours vary and will include evening and weekend work. Ability to travel within the United States is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION

• Lead a project team on single or multiple projects as necessary
• Support the estimating process, invite proper contractors to bid for complete coverage, conduct bid walk thru's, follow-up with bid scope and questions, scopes bids, and help prepare estimate proposal(s) for clients
• Assist in completion of RFIs, contracts, and subcontracts in a professional and concise manner
• Post, distribute, and update all project documents, building rules, specifications, plans, etc. so all parties are working off the most current documents
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Manage subcontractor performance and negotiate contracts as necessary
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
• Provide complete project closeout activates including closeout manual, completed punch list, and change orders
• Understand the full scope of all contracts, track and submit billing invoices, change orders and credits in a timely manner and completes information without direction, whenever possible
• Complete the accounting details, project negotiations and extras, and ensure that all recipients are satisfied with the amounts
• Manage all paperwork - meeting notes, RFI's, change orders, estimates, bid requests, plan updates, subcontractor pricing, etc.
• Communicate effectively keeping notes for contractor and owner meetings; address complaints; and manage conflict in a win/win style

• Network and build relationships with other professionals in the industry
