Automation Engineer – ManufacturingThe Automation Engineer will support a high volume raw materials manufacturing operation in Alabama. This role focuses on improving plant efficiency through PLC programming, automation design, system integration, and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:Design and optimize automated manufacturing systemsProgram and troubleshoot PLC and control systemsSupport installation, testing, and commissioning of equipmentImprove process efficiency and system reliabilityCollaborate with cross functional engineering and operations teamsRequirements:5+ years engineering experience in manufacturingStrong PLC, electrical systems, and automation background (Prefer Allen Bradley and Siemens)Problem solving mindset and hands on troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in an industrial environment T. Burks & Associates
