We are proud to offer an extensive and iconic portfolio of highly recognizable, sustainably sourced, and conveniently packaged branded beverages distributed across more than 150,000 retail outlets.Compensation: $22.75 hourlyShift: 1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm *Needed flexibility to work additional hours and weekends if needed*Location: Los Angeles, CASeasonal Benefits: Sick time, Employee discounts, 401K with a 5% matchThis position is seasonal, with the possibility of direct hire and increased compensation upon transition to a permanent role, contingent on performance and other relevant factors.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a forklift to move raw materials or finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customersComplete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source for lifts/trailersOperate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on equipmentConduct hourly quality checks and inspect full goods and pallets or other raw materials as neededComplete and maintain quality, inventory, and preventative maintenance documentationUse scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facilityWork as a team with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and improve operationsMaintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Monitor and track equipment downtime, equipment output, and other key metricsMeet or exceed performance goals, including pallets/labor hour, line loading, and truck turn timeInteract with production and warehouse team members, quality control, and maintenance to maximize output and efficiencyCross train to perform other lift and off lift activities as requiredProvide vacation coverage to team membersParticipate in Safety InitiativesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceTwo or more years prior forklift experience with a solid safety record, ideally in a fast-paced forklift environmentPrior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPsSolid computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and business management software, SAP preferredDemonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced forklift environmentAbility to work independently or with a team with solid communication skillsSolid problem solving and decision-making skillsAble to lift and pull 65 lbs. as needed while performing workMust be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overheadWillingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold and cold)Primo Brands' established portfolio includes billion-dollar brands Poland Spring® and Pure Life®, premium brands like Saratoga® and Mountain Valley®, regional leaders such as Arrowhead®, Deer Park®, Ice Mountain® Ozarka®, and Zephyrhills®, purified brands, Primo Water® and Sparkletts®, and flavored and enhanced brands like Splash® and AC+ION®.
