Banquet Staff

Job Summary

Responsible for serving food and beverages to special event's guests ensuring products meet guest's specifications.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

1. Responsible for replenishing all food and beverage items.
2. Responsible for removal of all dinnerware and China from the function and transporting the items to the convention hallway.
3. Will assist in the cleanliness of the Convention Center.
4. All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• 1-year food and beverage experience helpful but not necessary.
• Must be able to properly carry a banquet tray.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance. Must be committed to 100% customer service!
• Must be physically able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be at least 18. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Additional Requirements

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
