Job Summary
Responsible for serving food and beverages to special event's guests ensuring products meet guest's specifications.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
- Responsible for replenishing all food and beverage items.
- Responsible for removal of all dinnerware and China from the function and transporting the items to the convention hallway.
- Will assist in the cleanliness of the Convention Center.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- 1-year food and beverage experience helpful but not necessary.
- Must be able to properly carry a banquet tray.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance. Must be committed to 100% customer service!
- Must be physically able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
- Must be at least 18. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
