Surgical Technologist
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Surgical Technologist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
Position Highlights:
- Opportunity to care for Military Families
- Paid Time Off
- Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K
- Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts
- On Call On-call begins Friday at 1830 and ends Monday at 0630. On call one weekend per month.
- If called in must report within 30 minutes.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.
- Education:
- Graduate from CAAHEP Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (or)
- ABHES Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (or)
- Completion of a formal training program provided by any U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.
- Certification:
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA - The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (or)
- Certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing (or)
