QA/QC Manager

- Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions within the facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, procedures, and food safety programs.
- Manage and develop the QA/QC team, including coaching, performance management, and training.
- Monitor quality metrics and KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate and resolve customer, supplier, and internal quality concerns.
- Oversee complaint management processes and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct and support internal and external audits, inspections, and certification activities.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GFSI, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, R&D, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
- Support supplier quality programs, raw material evaluations, and product specification management.
The Successful Applicant A successful QA/QC Manager - Food & Ingredients should have:Required
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 10+ years of food safety and quality management experience.
- 15+ years of experience within food, beverage, ingredient, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and food safety regulations.
- Experience leading quality audits, corrective actions, and compliance programs.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Master's degree in a related scientific discipline.
- HACCP Certification.
- GFSI audit experience and certification.
- Lead Auditor certification.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment supporting complex customer requirements.
