Armed Detention Officer (73469) Washington D.C. - 10521 - Washington, DC 20001 Overview Job Shift Any Category Field Detention Officer Job description Employment Opportunity Inter-Con is searching for motivated dedicated and qualified Contract Detention Officers (CDO) to join our team. The CDO will be responsible for the secure detention and transportation of prisoners while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with federal guidelines. Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors. Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed (overtime occurs). Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned. Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments and locations. Guard and transport prisoners in a secure and humane manner Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during transportation and detention Operate within federal and agency-specific policies regarding detainee handling Veterans Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
